Wanted to close the loop on a post I started here: https://www.thecreditcardforum.com/forum/chase-credit-cards/chase-approval-in-portal?origin=notification.
I'm definitely over 5/24. Within the last 2 years I've opened the following cards:
Amex Green Card
Amex BBP
Amex Hilton Aspire
Capital One Venture X
NFCU CashRewards Plus
Citi Custom Cash
And 3 other store related cards opened early last year.
As stated in the other post, logged into my Chase Credit Journey account (created late last year) and saw a few different offers where it stated I was approved. Took a look at the terms and it noted that even though I was approved, it wasn't necessarily going to be approved after I accepted. Went ahead and went through the process, got the notifications that a hard inquiry occurred and was approved. Very weird considering all I've opened in this year alone (4 cards) although I don't think the Amex Cards have been reported yet. Approval below.

Great data point + congrats on your approval, Pierre! As a small business card from Amex, the BBP won't count towards 5/24 since it doesn't get reported to your personal credit file. Only cards that appear on your credit report will count. When you said, "...I don't think the Amex Cards have been reported yet," which of the 3 were you referring to? When did you open them?
(Moving this post to 'Credit Bureau Pulls')
Man, you skipped the flex and unlimited to go straight to one of the big boys LOL. Congrats! Maybe chase just wanted to get you into the club.
Congratulations on all the new card approvals. I am a believer that Chase and Amex make regular exceptions to their rules if the right potential card holder comes along. Although I have never been able to crack the Chase 5/24 Code, I have certainly broken the glass ceiling at American Express. In a matter of 2 weeks, I was approved for Hilton Honors 'surpass, Delta
Gold Skymiles, Marriott Bonvoy Boundless, and the American Express Gold Card. Before that I only had the Amex Green Card which I have had since 1987. I am not saying that I broke their algorithm, but I definitely got alot of Amex Cards in a short period of time. I would love to hear some feed back on this.
